A 7.2 magnitude earthquake hit Baja California at 3:40pm Sunday. The earthquake was felt on the US-Mexico border, with shockwaves going as far as Arizona and Las Vegas.
This was the largest earthquake in the region for nearly 18 years, the last one was the Landers earthquake in 1992, which had a magnitude of 7.3.
Here's an amateur video of someone's swimming pool seconds after the earthquake. Should give you an idea of how strong it was.
